Distribution Times and Dates
Last Saturday of Every Month, 9am to 11am
If you need food assistance, please bring a photo ID (driver's license, etc.) to pick up food. We require a basic intake form to be filled out once a year.

Our Mission
What the Todd Mission Food Pantry means to the community:

Provide hunger relief: Our goal is to supply nutritious food to residents who need help, including children, the elderly, and working families who are struggling with food insecurity.

Reduce food waste: We collect and redistribute excess food that would otherwise be discarded, often due to "use-by" dates or cosmetic imperfections, ensuring it is used before it spoils.

Support community health: Access to balanced meals and nutritional education is crucial for low-income families who may not have regular access to fresh produce.

Build community and resilience: We foster a sense of solidarity and compassion, community resilience, especially during emergencies or crises.

Offer additional necessary items: We also provide a range of support services, including information on government benefits, assistance with other local charities, and even household items and hygiene products.

Boost the local economy: By helping families save money on food, we hope to free up household funds that can be spent in other local areas, which can, in turn, support local jobs and businesses.

Future Location
Food Pantry's play a crucial role in our communities by combating hunger and providing essential food to those in need. Additionally, food pantry's build community resilience by offering a safety net for vulnerable populations. That is why the City of Todd Mission has partnered with the Todd Mission Food Pantry to work together to provide those in need with a convenient location by renovating the old mission building.

Board of Directors
Dedicated and compassionate leaders who's goal is to help the community.
The board of directors serves as the leadership of the organization.
Responsibilities of all Board member include:

Act in the best interests of the organization and avoid conflicts of interest.

Serve on a standing Committee as requested by the Board Chair.

Monitor fiscal integrity helping to approve an annual budget, review the monthly financial statements, authorize and/or approve contractual relationships.

Attend at least 75 percent of Board meetings and committee meetings.

Participate in developing, approving, and executing strategic plans.

Advocate for funding, working to secure public and philanthropic financial support.

Be informed about the organization and ask questions, request information and take responsibility for making decisions on issues, policies and other Board matters.

Work in good faith with staff and other Board members as partners towards achievement of our goals.

Represent the work and values to the public, government officials, employers, civic leaders, donors, and others and help to establish and maintain relationships important to the success of the food pantry.
