Todd Mission
Community Garden
When we were in the public hearing phase of our comprehensive development plan, one of the things I heard over and over was "we want to preserve the natural beauty of Todd Mission and build more green spaces". Well messaged received!
I'm proud to announce that the city is making progress in the development of a community garden with the help of Grimes County Health Services and local community members. If you would like to register to reserve a garden bed please use the sign up form on this page. If you have questions please email me smensing@toddmissiontx.gov

About the Todd Mission Community Garden
We are currently in the funding and construction phase. We have applied for grants to assist with the cost of building the garden with the help of Grimes County Health Services. The Todd Mission city council supports this initiative and plans to break ground in 2025. Through volunteers and community members we will be able to have a comfortable place for people to learn about the benefits of gardening while improving the natural beauty of nature. We seek to enlist the help of master planters from around the area to teach gardening best practices. Best of all, community gardeners will reap the rewards come harvest time.
